Helideck floodlight
APPLICATION SCOPE
This light is installed on the outer edge of the helicopter deck surface as an auxiliary light for the entire helicopter deck. It is suitable for helidecks with a diameter of less than 16 meters.
MAIN FEATURES
Shell material: 316L stainless steel.
Surface mount installation with a height of less than 50 mm.
Utilizes high-efficiency, long-life, environmentally friendly SMT LED light sources.
Provides sufficient brightness without black hole effects.
Lighting Rules:
Four floodlights are used for each helideck and should be installed according to the arrangement recommended by CAP437-2016. This setup further reduces the risk of visual black hole effects for pilots.
Important Note:
Before April 1, 2018, the function of the deck floodlight was to illuminate the "H" and yellow circle, which would turn on and off with other lamps. After April 1, 2018, this lamp is used for deck auxiliary lighting. During helicopter takeoff and landing, the ground crew should follow the instructions of the pilot or crew to turn the lights on or off.
