A Brief Introduction To Floodlights

Leave a message

Floodlights are not spotlights, projection lights, or spotlights. Floodlights produce highly diffuse, directionless light rather than well-defined beams, resulting in soft and transparent shadows. When used for object illumination, the speed of illumination attenuation is much slower than when illuminated by spotlights, and some floodlights with very slow illumination attenuation appear to be a light source that does not produce shadows. And the spotlight projects a directed and clearly defined beam of light, illuminating a specific area.
